Pavithran, known as Pavi, fulfills multiple roles at CLOUD 9 flat—he serves as the night security guard and manages the store. Aarti and Shruti assist him in the store. Janaki, the younger sister of Usha, a resident of the flat, visits but is halted by Pavi for failing to register. Their disagreement escalates into a heated altercation. Meanwhile, Pavi shares his living space with his loyal companion, a pet dog named Bro.

Impressed by the script, Vineeth revealed that Lal Jose assisted him in reaching out to Dileep. "Lal Jose personally contacted Dileep, suggesting that this script was tailor-made for him," he shared.
Vineeth revealed that despite being introduced by close friend Fahadh Faasil to narrate a script to Dileep years ago, he didn't proceed. He emphasized the extensive effort and challenges endured over five years for "Pavi Caretaker." Scriptwriting began in 2019, but production faced delays, primarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
