In the village of Porkudi, conflict arises between two groups when the village head, Lawyer Arun's father, restricts water access. The hero's father opposes this and is killed treacherously. In retaliation, the hero's brother murders Arun's father and goes to jail, sparking enmity between Saravanan and Arul. Saravanan falls in love with a village girl, but Arul plots to frame Saravanan and his friends to ruin their police careers. When Saravanan's brother is released from jail, Arul's men kill him. Enraged, Saravanan kills Arul and his men and ends up in jail.
