Seaspeaker (TBA)

Faith and knowledge are intertwined in the fisher elder S Palayam, who lives in the Chennai fishing village of Urur Olcott Kuppam. Seaspeaker celebrates his knowledge creation:he has been recording data on wind, weather & ocean currents daily since 2018, which shows the climate is changing. S Palayam transmits his knowledge through stories such as one about catching Kola fish (flying fish). This story is brought to life by Kalaimamani Muthuchandran Rao, a sixth-generation shadow puppeteer.
