In a distant dystopian future a lone soldier, designated Sentinel one, deals with the loss of his family after a terrible space-collision sets him off course and destroys the attached SDV leaving him a spectator to the instant death of his wife and separation from his 6 year old daughter.
The bleak chance of seeing his daughter again keeps him alive.
