Trivia:
Jyothika is making a comeback to Hindi cinema after a hiatus of 26 years. She first appeared in a Hindi film opposite Akshaye Khanna in "Doli Saja Ke Rakhna" in 1998.

In this psychological thriller, R Madhavan portrays the titular shaitaan, who infiltrates the home of Ajay Devgn and Jyotika.

"Shaitaan" is being hailed as the Hindi remake of the highly praised Gujarati film "Vash."

The upcoming horror flick has booked 18,060 tickets across 3,844 shows, translating to sales worth 42.64 lakhs, excluding block seats.

Previously, the film sold approximately 4000 tickets for the opening day of "Shaitaan." However, this figure saw an increase on day 2, and as the release day approaches, the numbers are expected to improve further.
