Syam Satya

Syam Satya is an Indian film editor and Director’s Assistant from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is an alumnus of the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, where he specialized in film editing. Syam Satya began his career in the film industry as the Associate Editor for the Malayalam feature film Pookkaalam (2023) . He continued his work as an Associate Editor in Padakkalam (2025) , Kaalante Thangakudam (2024) and served as the Director's Assistant in Kaalante Thangakudam (2024) . Beyond feature films, Syam Satya has contributed to various short films, documentaries, and music videos. He directed a musical video titled Parayathenno and has experience in live online editing for multi-camera setups in news, music, and sports productions .
