Taapmaan (2018)

An independent filmmaker struggles to keep making movies, but his
troubles only increase when an online critic frames him for making a
snuff film.

Despite being innocent, our filmmaker now finds himself struggling for
justice apart from his struggle to make films.

He is denied justice and even gets humiliated. His film gets banned
and there is no way in which he can speak out to people to watch his
film. His world comes crashing down with this. He had one film to be
released theatrically, but now there weren't any possibilities of a
theatrical release left for the film.

This was nearly his end.

But he's someone who can't stop dreaming and turning those dreams into
reality. He decides to keep as well break silence till he gets
justice.

He then takes a shocking action which makes it not just about his
struggle as a filmmaker but also as a citizen awaiting justice in this
intense action drama.

Taapmaan is a low budget, big scale film which is set for its first
release in the year 2018. According to Prashast, Taapmaan isn't merely
a film. It's the portrayal of the underlying emotions of an
independent filmmaker who keeps struggling to make films apart from
struggling to guard himself from all the taunts and criticism given by
his, unfortunately, own people.
