Lucky, the only son of lawyer Vinayaka Rao and Mani, holds a peculiar belief that eating the neighbor's chocolate will bring luck, avoiding any near him. As an adult, he dreams of marrying a wealthy girl and leading a blissful life. The heroine, raised abroad since childhood, returns with the intention of marrying and settling abroad. Their initial encounter is marked by a fight, but evolves into a deep friendship and love. Like a modern-day Tom and Jerry, their families engage in constant quarrels. Lucky's friend Satya plays a pivotal role in their unexpected wedding at an unconventional venue.
