Vanity Box (2011)

Kiran, a 45 year old woman sitting inside a beauty parlour is getting ready for her 25th anniversary. As the women are watching 'Bigg Boss' and indulging in beauty treatments, Kiran begins to peel off her outer shell. It is only when Tara, a 35 year old trans gender enters the parlour and exhibits her outer self exactly as what she is inside, Kiran begins to feel naked. Where on one hand, one undresses her true character, the other coats herself with make-up. The outside versus the inside, all inside a parlour, where 'Bigg Boss' is the only window into the outer world. Will she find a definite reality inside a 'Vanity Box'?
