The movie is about a well-known teacher named Hari Master and his two sons, Viplab and Sangram. After Hari Master retires, he becomes very ill and can't move around much. Both sons marry women from different political parties. When it's election time, the brothers fight over which party their father should support, leading to a sad ending with Hari Master's sudden death. After this, the brothers reconcile but realize a harsh lesson.
