With her father being a drug addict and her mother busy working as a nurse, a young woman lives a lonely existence in a loveless family. She is able to see a little girl with braids following her around after one of the tenants leave the place because of her existence. She is often bullied by her manager and her own father as she resorts to asking her doll for help with her problems. This ends up in these bullies dying and she realizes that the doll might be responsible.
