Abbie Cornish is an Australian rapper and actress best known for her television and film roles. She is best known for her appearance in Bright Star as Fanny Brawne, in Sucker Punch as Sweet Pea. At the age of thirteen, Cornish began her career as a model. For her role in the ABC's television show Wildside, she was awarded Young Actor's Award in the Australian Film Institute. After this success in Wildside, she was offered with her first debut role in a feature film named The Monkey's Mask, followed up by the project with well-received guest-starring roles on Water Rats, Outriders, Life Support, and White Collar Blue. In 2004, Cornish appeared in the award-winning short film 'Everything Goes' with Hugo Weaving. Abbie Cornish returned to the big screen in 2004 in One Perfect Day and in Somersault, a poetic drama about the differences between sex and love. In 2006, Abbie Cornish hit her stride as she worked beside Hollywood-heavyweights Russell Crowe in A Good Year and Cate Blanchett and Clive Owen in Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Accounting Abbie Cornish's success, Geostorm, Solace, RoboCop, Seven Psychopaths, The Girl, Limitless, Sucker Punch etc are sensational and highly critically acclaimed movies. She received many awards like Australian Film Institute Award, Miami International Film Festival, FCCA and IF Awards. Cornish perform raps as well with her stage name Dusk.
