Gopichand Lagadapati, is a multifaceted Indian artist who has garnered a name for himself as an actor, writer, director and producer. Due to the literary environment that pervaded his childhood and youth, Gopi developed a keen interest in creative writing and script writing. He has worked as an actor and as a scriptwriter in television sitcoms, and also in some national and international advertising campaigns. A graduate in Hotel Management, he grew an interest in the entertainment industry and took to understanding the technical aspects of film making, in the film Preminchi Choodu (2002). He debuted as an actor in the Telugu film, Anand (2004), worked as an assistant director in many movies and later went on to become a producer for the film Mr. Medhavi (2008). He is also widely known as 'Urban Yogi' in the western countries and promotes 'silence' with an objective to make people aware of how silence is important to understand their own inner self in this busy lifestyle.
