American actor, film director, producer and screenwriter Kevin Spacey began his career as a stage actor during the 1980s, and is known for portraying the role of Frank Underwood in the Netflix political drama series 'House of Cards' and the famous super villain Lex Luthor in the film 'Superman Returns'. Born as third among his siblings, Kevin is of English, Swedish, and Welsh ancestry and had graduated as co-valedictorian at Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, California. After starring in several stage plays and movies, Spacey won universal praise and a Best Actor Oscar for his role as a depressed suburban father who re-evaluates his life in 1999's 'American Beauty'. Kevin gained recognition for his role as Frank Underwood in the Netflix series 'House of Cards', which had won him Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. In July 2011, Spacey co-starred in the black comedy film Horrible Bosses which became a blockbuster at the box office. In the 2016 film 'Nine Lives', Kevin has voiced and portrayed the character of Tom Brand, an eccentric millionaire who turns into a cat. Kevin has kept his personal life private from the media and has refused to confirm his relationships or interests.
