Trivia:
"Mission: Impossible - Fallout" had three thousand set-ups, thirteen helicopters, six pregnancies, five hiatuses, four weeks of aerial photography, three continents, two winters and one broken ankle.

In order to perform the HALO stunt in the film, Tom Cruise was trained for an entire year.

"Mission: Impossible - Fallout" was green-lit several days before the release of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Production was halted for seven weeks as Tom Cruise while filming fractured his ankle in a stunt where he leaped from a building.

This is the longest "Mission: Impossible" film to date.

Due to Jeremy Renner's commitment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he couldn't be a part of the film.

Christopher McQuarrie was the first director in the franchise to direct more than one film.

Solomon Lane is the first villain in the franchise to appear in two films.

Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames are the only actors to appear in all six "Mission: Impossible" films.

Simon Pegg has been in every movie since 2006 Mission: Impossible III.

Rebecca Ferguson was the first actress in the franchise to appear twice in a leading role.

While filming this film, Rebecca Ferguson was pregnant. She was about seven months pregnant when filming was completed.

Tom Cruise was replaced by Henry Cavill for The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Tom Cruise, Michelle Monaghan and Simon Pegg arrived in New Zealand to begin filming scenes in June 2017 and it turned out to be Tom Cruise's first time in the country since filming The Last Samurai.

The production company sought permission for about 800 landings by helicopter on the cliff Preikestolen in Norway due to additional safety equipment and challenges with the weather in November.

Henry Cavill revealed that even being Superman didn't prepare him for the extreme stunts of this film.

"Mission: Impossible - Fallout" was the first "Mission: Impossible" film to be released in 3-D.

The production wrapped after 161 shooting days.

Henry Cavill is the second lead actor from The Tudors (2007) to have appeared in the "Mission: Impossible" franchise.

Tom Cruise was shown the completed film for the first time on July 8, 2018.

Post production on the film was completed on July 3, 2018, less than three weeks before its premiere.
