Neti Siddhartha (1990)

This emotionally charged action drama revolves around Siddhartha (Nagarjuna), who is the son of Krishna Prasad alias K.P (Krishnam Raju), a business magnate. He leads a carefree life and returns to India after spending several years abroad. Jyothi (Shobana), his childhood friend loves him very much, but he just treats her as his friend.

When a violent incident that causes the death of his good friend, David reveals that his father is actually a mob boss who rules the crime syndicate, Siddhartha feels like his whole life is a lie. Unwilling to deal with this harsh and devastating reality, he leaves home and finds refuge in a forest sanctuary, where he falls in love with a tribal girl Basanti (Ayesha Jhulka).

Meanwhile, other opportunistic members of the syndicate Jogendra (Tiger Prabhakar) and Shetty (Pradeep Shakthi) decide to take advantage of the internal turmoil between father and son and plot to kill K.P and Siddhartha. With the help of K.P 's devious son-in-law Chakravarthy (J. D. Chakravarthy), they organise an assault in which K.P and his beloved Basanti die.

Siddhartha is heartbroken by the tremendous loss, but forces himself to take over the reins of his father's empire and begins the process of exacting revenge upon those responsible for the death of his father and his lover. Will he succeed in his task? How will his future unfold?
