Ram is a young, dashing NRI - the very exemplification of an eligible bachelor. He belongs to a wealthy family, and was born and brought up in Australia. During his visit to India for his cousin Lalita's wedding, he chances upon her best friend, Sona. Sona hails from a small picturesque village in north of India and is adorned with simplicity, gorgeousness, youthfulness, charming vivaciousness and utmost honesty. Ram is attracted to these qualities and finds himself drawn to her. In the colorful backdrop of the pre-wedding celebrations a friendship blossoms between the two, and in no time grows into a love so pure and magical that they start dreaming of a life together. In a sudden turn of events, circumstances cause the lovers to separate. They are transported back to their original abodes; but their hearts lie with each other. Will Ram find a way to go back to Sona? Will he be able to prove his love and commitment towards Sona? What struggles will he undergo before the lovers finally unite?
